Germany is famous for its museums, cars, highways, wonderful zoos, a delicious beer brewed according to the laws of 1516, football, beautiful cities, many of which have retained their medieval appearance, and amusement parks that are scattered across the country. Ideas of Walt Disney, which owns the invention, live in the country and win. There adults turn into children, and children are experiencing their most acute delight and greatest happiness. There is light at strange tourist attractions – eerily quiet theme parks and hotels that do not accept their visitors. These theme parks were for some reason abandoned today and left to rot.
It would seem that theme parks should be filled with screaming kids, covered in cotton candy, and their caring parents. In fact, instead of fun in these places is eerily empty, creepy, and frightening silence hangs in the air, no signs of life.
Strange, but these places, for a long time have come into complete disrepair, attract many tourists wishing to get a hefty dose of thrills.
Spreepark, Berlin, Germany
In 1969, the Park has been opened, is located in Plänterwald. The Park was given an honorable and pleasant mission – to delight families from Berlin and other German cities. In 2002, the family owners, which owned the Park (now known as spreepark), moved to Lima, Peru where they tried to start another Park. Berlin gradually the Park fell into disrepair.

Amusement parks in the twentieth century has been a favorite place for a nice family vacation. However, as time goes on, in place of these parks came in other bright, technologically advanced, with new idols for children. “The old guard” was simply not able to compete with them. Many buildings were closed and demolished to make way for shopping centers, while others were abandoned because of debts. However, those that were left, that recall the days when there was fun for adults and children.
Ruined and abandoned parks are filled with special energy, they could be a great place for filming some Thriller. Walking on those mysterious places, I want to look into every corner, sit on each attraction, because here was once full whole life.
